I'm currently on sky, and all of a sudden, in peak times, the download rate drops to about 0.2mbps (or less), rather than the average 4.5 (more like 6 in the late morning of a week day).
Who are you guys using?
Just ran another speedtest (as this is when it gets terrible) and the results sucked.
Download: 160 kbps
Upload: 384 kbps
by about midnight I will have perfectly functioning internet again!
Weird man... glad it's working again though.

Been downloading or playing alot of games during the day?
Sounds like you've been put on the naughty list and are getting the poo traffic managed out of your connection.
Virgin Media have done it to us twice (for no real reason either, there are 5 people in the house during term time, though.)
Phone them up and have a little word with them and they'll take it off. If they don't threaten to go with a real ISP and they'll probably give you a few months free.
We're with Virgin Media who are just terrible all the time, even when they claim they arn't traffic shaping you they clearly are, some days we can barely browse the Internet without waiting 30 seconds for pages to load, it's almost impossible to game unless you wait until after midnight...even then it just won't have it sometimes.
They really are terrible.
It's a bit lower over the pond, but I love them nonetheless
