While less than a decade ago the name on everyone's lips for the highest of the high end gaming chassis would be Coolermaster, in recent years the firm has seen far more competition from the likes of Antec, Thermaltake, Lian Li, NZXT and more. No longer can they ride the coat tales of the much lauded Stacker, they have to diversify.

The company's most recent range of cases is known as the HAF series and there's a variety of different models. Today XSReviews is proud to take a peak at an unreleased, low end case known as the HAF 912. Let's see how this semi-budget offering stacks up.

Recently we’ve been working our way through several of NZXT’s newest enclosures and next on the agenda is the Hades. As a manufacturer intent on producing exactly what the consumer is after, the Hades is perfectly priced at around £60 – much more affordable than many competing mid tower chassis’ on the market which often stretch past the three figure mark.

Needless to say the pricing only matters, if a case is worth buying though. Marketed as offering advanced features and flexible cooling options, the Hades looks good on paper but there’s only one way to thoroughly determine a case’s standard and that’s to get hands on.
We get to check out some of the latest pieces of kit around, and occasionally when we're done we get to hang on to them. This of course has no impact on what score we give an item when reviewing it; but it does occasionally give rise to random items being reviewed.

Being totally honest, today's review is of one such item. It's a laser and ultrasonic range finder from our pals at EFO; here's the review.

Do better cases have better cooling? As mine is cheapy, and I just got a job so I can afford a better case (or whatever I need for better cooling).
Help greatly appreciated
